Week of the year

I thought this was going to be easy, just go look to see if anyone has built a script to do this? no luck.

Okay, whip up a method to calculate the week of the year. Not so easy. jdtojulian() doesn't actually return the day of the year, but some incorrect version of a gregorian date...

So, where to turn to for help? PHPBuilder!

I need to get the week number of the year as an integer value. It should always be 1-53 (Dec. 31 and, leap years, Dec. 30.)

You may want to look into the [man]date[/man] function

this will work

echo date("W");
