offline application on full screen

Hi,
For ages, the Flash developers out there have enjoyed the luxury of being able to "hide" the fact that you're using Flash or even internet explorer. They do this by making applications full screen.

I was just wondering, is it possible to build a php application for an intranet system and have it so that the end user is not aware that they are just viewing a souped up, offline webpage?

In other words, does anyone know if it's possible to write a batch file that will open up a web browser in true full screen (i.e., no URLs, no navigation buttons... etc)?

Depends on what web browser you are using. If its IE im pretty sure you can go into the registry and make the default view fullscreen without address bar etc.

You will find it a bit more challenging when trying another browser, not sure if Firefox can however about:config would probably give you the means to see if its possible.
