Php-Sql installation problem

Hello friends

I installed IIS, and mysql, phpmyadmin, so that I can test my php files before uploading. IIS is working, but when i goto >mysql>bin>mysql

i get this error

ERROR 2003: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061)

and if i type winmysqladmin and try to create a data base I get error, u have to
start the server running..... something like this.

All virtual directories have been made, and permissions to read, write, execute given.

pl suggest ...

you have to start mysql server each time you turn on your machine if it is not already set up to "automatic" in your systems

I can see the icon in system tray, with red button on.
But when I type net start mysql i get this error.
Fisrt it used to work, now its refusing to work, tried to restart
IIS also. 🙁

C:\mysql>cd bin
C:\mysql\bin>net start mysql
The MySql service is starting.
The MySql service could not be starte

A system error has occurred.

System error 1067 has occurred.

The process terminated unexpectedly.

can you try windows "services" , you should see mysql from there and try starting it.

Thank you marian, tried what U had suggested, but got error 1067 >>> did a search in google and found this >>> and I unremmed the lines pointing to dir, and it worked. 🙂
