This shouldnt be very hard for someone with some experience in PHP. I am currently making a gallery for users on my site to post their fan fictions such as stories poems and images. These can all be viewed and voted on by other users on the site. On the main part of the gallery you can choose how you want the the gallery to order the fan fictions by. For example you can have it order them from newest to oldest, or alpahbetically. I am currently try for it to be able to show from highest to lowest rated.
I have two table for this script. One is for the fan fiction (fanwork), it includes the name of the fan fictions, the content, the fan fiction ID (id), and various other information. The other holds the votes on the fan work (fanwork_votes) and its rows are, the vote (vote), the fan fiction ID (fwid) and a few other rows.
Now the problem I am having is how in 1 mysql_query do you select the them all from fanwork and order it by the top rated.
