I only got 4/8 and I write PHP nearly 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Personally it looks to me that all this exam really tests is your knowledge of information that is easier to lookup than remember. Highly doubt I'll be spending $200 on that one...

like Sgarissta said, by the looks of it a majority is testing you on things that are easier to look up than remember?

It's as if the guy who wrote the test discovered only last week that count() can take variables of type other than array. He got me! (But then I hardly know anything compared to our resident geeks.)🙂

Thats something that got me too. I use the string-as-array trick* to scan through words a letter at a time, and thought count() would react in the same way for a string. Waved bye bye to a couple of points..

I thought count() returned false and not 1 when the wrong type was passed, I would have got 6 damnit 😉
