[Resolved] How to display part of a tables data in search result?

What I want to do is display the master results of a search where the text shows only the first so-many characters - like the search engines do:

e.g.

Search Result:

Page title
This page is all about the services we provide ...

Page2 title
welcome to our company website. We provide...

Just enough to see what type of content is on the page without displaying all the content for each.
