Hiya,
I've got a question, and a job offer :}
My friends and I play an online RPG, and in that game, you can use "harvesters" to gather resources. However, my friends and I sometimes lose track of who is harvesting what.
What we wanted was a script that would allow us to post to a database so the rest of us could view said page and see who was harvesting what. All we would need is a form with textboxes for the entries of our names under each seperate resource type (there are 20 different types of resources). Each resource is going to have its own set number of textboxes (say, 15 for Steel, 2 for Special Steel, 4 for Radioactive, etc.). This is because we only want a maximum of 15 harvesters on Steel, 2 on Special Steel, etc. We don't want to over-harvest.
Then, when someone starts to harvest a resource... say, Steel, they can go to the page and type in their name into one of the textboxes under Steel, hit Post, and the page would refresh with their name in place of the textbox. When someone else came to view the page, only fourteen textboxes would be open. One would be taken up by the poster's name:
Steel
Bob
[blank textbox]
[blank textbox]
[blank textbox]
etc.
There would be a button that says "POST" next to each textbox, and one that said "DELETE", so that when Bob stopped harvesting steel, he could go back and hit "DELETE" so there would be 15 textboxes again.
This is really just for ease of keeping track of who is harvesting what... this is what we have to track for us so far:

..but it's an awkward system and really more complicated than we need. We really just need textboxes for name entries. I've tried a bunch of different codings and such and I can't seem to have any luck with it. I've some familiarity with PHP but I can't seem to get this right.
Is this even possible? I will pay whatever your normal rates are for something like this. Thank you in advance :}
