Greetings,
As a regular reader of this site and an amateur PHP programmer the time has come to make my first post 🙂
I'm a 29 year old EPOS programmer in Edinburgh Scotland and I'm the producer on the Hull Breach Project, one of the most promising volunteer games developments of late, our team is made up of industry professionals and talented amateurs aplenty.
For two years now the project has evolved from nothing to one of the most anticipated projects for Valve's Source engine (HalfLife 2).
The team now numbers over 60 and management is becoming trickier, we created a task management system some 8 months ago and we have now outgrown it's capabilities. With the release of the Source Software Development Kit our coders are now preoccupied getting to grips with the source and the time has come to hire two talented and highly motivated PHP coders from the community.
Here is a shot of our current PHP coded Work Management System (WMS)... please forgive the size of the image.

We are looking for two individuals to join our ever expanding team, one to create a new improved version of the WMS as well as a coder to work on our new public facing content management system alongside our community manager originally employed by Activison & Seirra Online.
I should stress that this is not paid work but should pave the road for a system that can be later sold to games developers if the coder wishes (but only after the game is completed).
Interested parties should contact me directly : trax@hull-breach.com
Hull Breach is the blending of a realistic First Person Shooter and various Role Playing Game elements. We have invested a lot of time in the design of every aspect in order to provide players with gameplay that is immersive, accessible and at the same time has enough depth and allows for a sense of accomplishment to keep everyone coming back for more. Zero G / 1G combat, character persistence, skill/tech trees, a rich universe / background and so much more.
I'll leave you with an extremely small slice of media and look forward to any comments, questions and in particular applications! 🙂
Warm regards
Julian Young
Producer
