[Resolved] Very simple update problem

Trying to do an update on a table, the table only has one row so I don't need to be selective on which row i'm affecting so i've not bothered with using WHERE or LIMIT. I've checked user privilages as well, and that's all fine. yes all across the board. It says it's submitting the info but it's just not doing it.

Can anyone see anything obviously wrong with this?

Can't see anything wrong with your sql either, and I don't want to insult you with the obvious since I'm sure you tried that already. My instinct would be to echo the query to see what is being passed to mysql and to look for odd values or other anomolies that are causing it to fail. IT'll be one of those Dooh! things probably.

On no please do try the obvious just in case I have missed something, i'm not particularly brilliant with sql my php isn't too bad, but I'm sure this is a problem with my sql.

the output of my query is as follows, is there anything in there that will muck it up? it works fine on an insert, just not with the update.

UPDATE scschedule SET sc1='april2004', sc2='01 October 2004', sc3='05 October 2004 @ 20:00 ET', sc4='01 October 2004 @ 03:00 ET', sc5='01 October 2004 @ 03:00 ET', sc6='sc6', sc7='27 October 2004 @ Midnight ET', sc8='TBA', sc9='TBA'

Just a hunch, try taking out the'@' signs.

Doh!

Found my problem, due to a slight oversight in one of my form echoes I had been reading in the wrong variables by the time I got to this stage.

So it had been doing the update, just using the original values instead of the new ones.

I'm going to go crawl back under my rock now.
