How Do I?

I bought a Php book...it confused me! I just want to do this!!!

Example
index.php
Name:
Email:
Home page:

add.php
Name:
Email:
Home Page:

edit.php
Edits the Data

search.php
Search form

The fields will be different!!! I know how to set up databases and tables, the problem is just viewing, adding and editing data via the web!!

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Don't ask for much do you? Best thing would be to forget the book and start with this from Kevin Yank You can download 4 chapters that will guide you through your first php pages, doing just the sort of thing you say you want to do.

This is what I'm using to get off the ground quickly.

PHP Maker

Create your mySQL database with the tables that you are going to use, point this application at it and then run the generator. This application creates all the files that you are asking for and does it in seconds.

I've got a half finished PHP thing that does pretty much the same thing as that program by the sounds of things..
