save image from db to directory

does any 1 here know how to convert from db to image in the directory?

i mean i want to save all the images i have from my db and now stored into my directory coz i dont like the idea of saving images to a DB. it makes my query slow.

I guess you'd just pull the BLOB data from the field into a variable, then write the contents of that variable to a file. Presumably the filename would be based on some other field in the same row.

thats what i did.. pull the image from blob..

and i can even display it on the web but i dont like to use it anymore.

i want to convert all the images from blob to images and i am going to change my script once user upload it will just upload to a certain directory.
