hide server

hi, I am using Apache Friends XAMPP which i use to host file from my pc to the net... but what is really anoyying is that command promt screen that is always in the background and i was wondering if any of you have ways of hiding it (this is their site http://www.apachefriends.org/en/ ) i have a couple of options to hide it.
#1. i can edit the command prompt file, that starts the server, so that it hides itself but i dont know and command scripts heres the code XAMPP for Windows

#2. get a program that will auto hide the window on start up but i dont know of any. (if you know VB i can use the source)

#3 get a new program for hosting a server that will has php and ftp ect. and is reliable

........please help !!!!

I haven't done much with VB but would this not work:

Shell("apache\bin\apache.exe", vbHide)

I had nothing to test it on but MS Office VBA and I couldn't get it working (because of lack of VB knowledge and my own patience) but in principle would that not work? I am sure I have used very similar code before.

There's a section about how to install Apache and MySQL as services on systems that support that like e.g. Windows 2000/XP.

That might be the cleaner solution (and they will start automatically if you reboot the system)
