Simple Image Upload and Resize Script, Help

Hi,

Im trying to get ideas of how to create a script that will allow me to upload images to a website, then once uploaded, the images would be resized automatcally (e.g. a thumbnail and viewable image would be create, plus overwrite the orginal uploaded image).

Ive done some basic work with image upload, but what i could do with some advice/pointers, is how would i go about resizing an image???

This function is not mine. I got it from some comment in PHP manual but couldnt remember what was the function where this handy script was. So here goes:

How do i upload the images from the PC??

You need a file input field in your form. Take a look at this tutorial:
