Anyone else using this?

For the uninitiated, it's a plug in you download (there's one for pretty much every mp3 player) and then uploads stats of what you're listening to...

I've been using it a tiny bit longer than you.

PS. On my new website, going live this weekend hopefully, theres a nice article about how to get a very similar thing on your own site using PHP, MySQL, and a WinAmp plugin.

Well, either it's not updating (which is possible given weekender's music list), or the network nazi's here at work have shut it down. Fun while it lasted. :bemused:

I got a note from them that they are having some problems right now...yeah, I signed up.

Now the truth will be known that I listen to 80's Spanish new wave and Green Day's 'Dookie'. Often. Same user name as it ever was...whenever it starts working...

i think it runs off port 80, so it should work through a firewall... i noticed for a while that it wasn't updating my list, so i guess they might be having problems, or it's just incredibly popular

and Elizabeth: I have a very varied taste in music. However, I just let winamp's shuffle feature do the work 😉

yeah it's running again now. It does run off port 80 (i've been reading the protocol) but it keeps a backlog of songs it hasn't been able to upload
