redirecting or including frome REMOTE hosting?

hi guys!

How is the best way of redirecting or including frome REMOTE hosting?

i have 1.com and 2.com

I need to have all my files on 2.com and all people must think that they are on 1.com if I do INCLUDE (2.COM/web/index.php); i think will not work becouse all scripts (database) on 2.com will start with LOCAL settings for 1.com.

Please let me know what is the best way of doing it.

This might help (it's from the manual page for include()):

If the target server interprets the target file as PHP code, variables may be passed to the included file using a URL request string as used with HTTP GET. This is not strictly speaking the same thing as including the file and having it inherit the parent file's variable scope; the script is actually being run on the remote server and the result is then being included into the local script.

yes, but as I sad, I don't think it will work.. us far us I know INCLUDE("file.php") will simply paste every single line from FILE.PHP and file where INCLIDE is located will run the code. but it will not work us I need to use database on remote domain which support only local host connections 🙁... so include will not work unless someone will say for shure...

It will work, except for the output you don't want (which is a newly-introduced condition. I gathered, wrongly it seems, from your first post that you controlled the script on 2.com). The 2.com machine will run the script independent of the one on 1.com, then return the output. You can try it with a simple test script or two. Then you can quit saying "I don't think it will work" and know for sure one way or another. Anyway, you're welcome.

yep.. must agree.. it works. thank you.

how ta hel files wich end with *.INC work? how do they do their code? Apache server only proceeds code with PHP extencions uless specified. So I am lost 🙂

but problem is sorted now.. thank you!

Just remember if you can interpret that data from another host as PHP a user can see your PHP Source.
