ok I have this code

mail($send, $subject, $message, "From: $receive\r\n");

I need $send to be pulled from an email I have in a text file.
I already have the text file and the only thing in it is "[e-mail]"
How would I get it so the mail command knows that $send = "[e-mail]"

by the way, I need the email to be pulled from a file so I can't just have mail("[e-mail]", $subject, etc. . .
