Upload and resize of JPG

I'm developing a script for a mobilecontentprovider where users upload their pictures. The pictures should be stored in diffent sizes on their server. The user should be able to upload any picture and any size. My script should do the entire resizing and save the diffent sizes of the same picture. Anyone got a good idea of how to do this.

It's quite important that the picture covers the entire cellphonedisplay area nomatter what size the user uploads.
Quite complicated I know but if anyone go tricks please let me know.

store the image once, then based on the cell phone type resize the image to fit the appropriate cell phone on the fly...use the phone type as an array with the values being the diff sizes expected for the display...there are a number of rezising scripts out there

would suggest use imagemagik.

install the imagemagick on your server and use it to convert the image to whatever size u want to.
