I used PHP about a year ago to do some mysql work.....and am now interested in creating a bot.
Basically I want to create one which, from my website, the data entered into a text field will be taken and used to search through a number of other websites "search options"
Would PHP work to do this?
I have a book on creating bots in Java, but not too sure if it would be the best option.
Anyone have any ideas? Know what the best language would be to write such a program in?
