When writing to a text box from form fields, text and textarea, is there a way to format the output to keep it contained and not write in long lines across the page?

Or you can use a simple table. Just customize the width and alignment, etc, etc..

robert_w_ark what is going to happen say if I have a continuing line without spaces? no tables will continue on wordwrap although flawed in some way will break this up into new lines. There was actually a regular expression I found however have lost it for the time being which was much more accurate then wordwrap.

Some cases in where word wrap fails.

Where a new line break has been issued and wordwrap will missing this and take it as an ordinary character meaning that it will continue with this line so e.g.

this is some text<br />
continuing text

if wordwrapped to say 38 as an example would print

this is some text
continuing
text
