PHP 4.3.5 vs 4.3.10

Hello,

I am developing a small website for my wifes business using
php 4.3.5 on windows 2000 pro for testing and everything is
running smoothly, Sessions are cleared when the browser closes
and the writing to a mysql database is all good.

When I tried moving the code, etc... to a hosting site using
php 4.3.10 on Linux the following issues occured:

1. Sessions wouldn't terminate or should I say session_cookies
   existed when I came back after closing my browser.

2. When writing a record to a table in the mysql database,
    every record was being inserted twice.

I could not duplicate this at all on my test box.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i doubt it is a difference in the version. rather, its most likely a difference in the way php is configured, and the code is breaking.

the difference between those versions is mostly just bugfixes. unless your code is relying upon the presence of a bug, its most likely a difference in configuration.

you can run
phpinfo();

on both servers and compare the config settings between your box and the server.

if you cant figure it out post the relevant sections of your code here.
