PHP scripts that look like directories?

A friend of mine (who apparently used to manage PHPbuilder, or so he says..) apparently wrote an article here that talks about PHP scripts that "look" like they are directories, more for search engines than anything else. Has anyone seen this article? Or is there an article someone can point out?

either make a bunch of directories and put an index.php in each of them, or search for mod_rewrite
