Using content from another site

Hi guys,

Ive been working with code that has already been published here, in trying to download the contents of another website onto mine. The code snipet is on: http://www.phpbuilder.com/snippet/detail.php?type=snippet&id=365

This works fine for something like google.com, though other websites, i.e. www.dixons.co.uk, once entered adds a load of other data to the address line, and so the PHP coding cannot read the page. I have tried using the exact line from the address bar for the code to search through, but it doesnt want to know.

Any ideas?

That website adds a session ID amongst other things to the URL which might make things difficult. In any case scraping is a pretty bad thing to do without permission from the site owners you are scraping from. I'm quite surprised it's on PHP Builder. People who want you to syndicate their content would normally provide an RSS feed or other web service.
