I'm considering an online store and am currently researching shopping cart software. Am seeking the best shopping cart software (Open Source, written in PHP using MySql) available. Can someone recommend some solid ecommerce products?
The best way is to create one by yourself, and it works exactly as you want 😛
it really depends on your needs, but oscommerce is kinda the defacto it seems
i used zencart once and liked it
zen cart is written by the same people as os commerce. I prefer ZC since it's a lot easier to use. Much less complicated.
The most complete must be OSCommerce i think.
But it's a bit overkill for smaller shops
Chalk up another vote for Zen Cart... I came from OSCommerce and Zen Cart is similar, but its's easier to use, upgrade, learn, and find solutions to.
