Read Client Registry from PHP

Can this be done? We need to get the computer name and Dell asset tag from the registry. :::gulp:::

Using IE's various security holes, you might be able to. But otherwise, no. Not from PHP nor from JavaScript.

A smarter approach might be to look into VB and remote connecting using the network admin's name and password combo. You can then remotely read the registry and pull the info you desire.
