php page hangs

hi, need help on how to get my php running... my system is w2k server, running IIS5, and the php package is 4.3.7. I followed every steps in install.txt, but when i tried a simple <? phoinfo() ?> script, the page just hangs there. I can't figure out what the problem is. has anybody encountered this problem before? any help is greatly appreciated. i searched the forum and found someone had the same problem, but not resolved yet...

A couple of potential problems with your test script ...

<? phoinfo() ?>

1) The typo ... phoinfo => phpinfo
2) Use tags <?php ... ?> (I could imagine that using <? ...?> on win2k/IIS could be confused with ASP tags!)

See how that goes first ... there could be some configuration issues as well.

Thanks a lot , paulnaj. first one is a typo in my previous post, second one sounds reasonable,I'll try it.
