I've searched the books/board for an solution but not joy yet so I'm posting a new thread in the hope that someone might be kind enough to offer their advice.
Here's my problem:
I have joined 3 tables in MySQL to output many rows in the following format:
Brand | Category | Group | Product | Price
And I want the output on the page as follows?
Category
Brand (eg Ford)
Group (eg Saloons)
Product (eg Escort) Price
Another Product (eg Mondeo) Price
Etc..
Basically a create a hierarchy from the rows. Currently I'm using several MySQL query loops but that means executing about 2,000 queries. The number of product, groups and brands vary greatly.
Can anyone help me to work out a neat, multi-dimensional array-based solution or similar?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Jason
