anyone know a good mail client?

I have my own mail server on my own machine which is colocated in San Jose with a good ISP. I need my clients to be able to check their email remotely. Any good perl or php mail clients out there that are full-featured?

Free is good but if an extra 30-70.00 US would get me something more professional, I'm open to suggestions. VBulletin is not free, for example, but the price is well worth trying to do it yourself.

BTW on the vbulletin forum, how to you refer to another thread by id #? I know there's a shorthand of this.

Have you tried squirrelmail?

Though aside from a web-based interface, your clients should still be able to use their own email client and check their email.
