need tool to create nice pie graphs with legends

anybody know where to find a script or tool of some kind to display attractive, anti-aliased pie graphs in a browser? ideally browser-proof if you know what i mean.

it must display a legend.

ideally free. cheap will also do. expensive will do in a pinch.

I use jpgraph, which is open source and free. It handles pie charts, bar graphs, line graphs, all sorts of popular data plots. It's also pretty simple to implement I think. And yes, it also has the option to display a legend if you wish. It's quite powerful and allows almost full customization of your output.

unfortunately, the graphs are not anti-aliased and they look pixellated. Will definitely consider, though.

Double check google and your PHP version. There was a bug with antialias in PHP and GD. It might be resolved in the latest PHP version and you just need to turn the option on.

I have not installed the software...I was referring to the demo images on their site. one would think the most attractive images would be the ones put up as examples. their samples are not anti-aliased and i didn't see any mention of it on the page.

someone i know sent me an email that mentions a couple...i'll check it out.

anti-aliasing apparently only works for limited situations

3. Only a single line-width. You can't set the line width when you are using anti-aliasing since this would require a full implementation of anti-aliased polygons which I haven't done and probably won't do. (This is supposed to be a WEB-utility, not an image processing tool!)
