Searching into the same field of 4 tables

i've got 4 tables that contain a field email

1-admin
2-member
3-guess
4-mod

How can I search for an email address into these 4 tables at the same time ??

With a Union query.

select email, 'admin' as t from admin where email = $email
Union
select email, 'member' as t from member where email = $email
Union
select email, 'guest' as t from guest where email = $email
Union
select email, 'mods' as t from mods where email = $email

The string as t will identify which table the email was found in.
