Problem With Sender email

Hi!

i'm creating a mail sender and i don't want to put the sender address but only my name.

I used:

mail($f_mail,$subject,$msg,"From: My Name\n");

but it put this into the sender zone:
[e-mail]

???

[anm]

I believe that if you don't put an email address in it just inserts an @.com after the text inserted. . .
