POST response

Hi,

I have a web page which POSTS data to a recieving page (which is hosted on another server and not in my control).

The receiving page displays a message indicating the status of the post. For instance, 1 is OK, 2 is an error. How can I perform a POST and then process the response?

For instance, if the receiving page displays an ERROR I can get hold of this and forward to the appropriate page.

You can't: if I follow what you are saying. The receiving page is going to respond to the client, not to your severe. It will not even know that your sever page exists. You will have to have your page post back to your server and then forward it to the other server if you want to process the result.
