cutenews help

i need help on being able to post php on Cutenews, php script to post news, but i cant get any php to be posted because it just treats it as it were printing it to the page.... what i am trying to do is to creat a ['code][/code'] type thing for my cutenews to make tutorials be Syntax Highlighted with this script

 <?
// the phpcode you want to highlight
$code = "<?php";
highlight_string($code); // highlights the string
?>

can anyone help that has done it before or can do it with cutenews

yea i did the problem is that no one will hel there and i need to find out real bad

a common reason for posts not getting replies is because they are asking for too much(the question is not specific), or your not being clear about what your problem is.

its long but very worth it imo. questions you ask in the future will almost surely receive much more help from others.

and a great way to find out how to do something, is to look at some code that already does it. download phpbb for example and see how they do it.
