B.G. : the timestamp to covers dates from Fri, 13 Dec 1901 20:45:54 GMT to Tue, 19 Jan 2038 03:14:07 GMT.

Problem; My platform doesn't support negative timestamps [before Unix] with windows. This given, date starts are at Jan 1, 1970.

What platform supports cback to 1901?

re: strtotime and timestamp for date calculations. Also arriving at the current month; $MonthL=date("F", $Timestamp);

Is this a problem for your database or for PHP? It's one of the many many reasons I recommend letting the database do date maths (along with time zone issues) instead of PHP.

If this is strictly a problem in PHP, i.e. you're not doing date / time in a database, then the database forum is probably not the best place to post your questions, as the standard recommendation is going to be to just do the date maths in the database.

If your database cannot handle dates <1970 then it's broken and needs to be replaced with one that does.

huh??? re-read that sentence. first you say "there is no database" and then you mention a database (mysql).

Wait, are you using MySQL or not. If you're not using MySQL for this work, then it's not really a database problem and likely to get a better response in the general or coding boards.

If you're storing your timestamp in mysql but manipulating it in postgresql, it might behoove you to move from unix timestamps to SQL timestamps, which should work for millenia in either direction.

the script is finished, there are no tables.
