O.K. here's the deal: On a site of mine I have installed for the client to be able to upload pdf documents for viewing and downloading...
I know I shouldn't do it like that by client insisted against my better judgement and now I have a problem with it....
The problem is like this: when I use MSIE 6.0 to test whether I can see the document I can't for only one of them and I get the error alert from Adobe Acrobat Reader which says:
Error reading linearized hint data
and the document cannot be opened...
Adobe Reader starts, alerts about this error and stops and the document cannot be seen...
What does that mean?
To say again this happens for only one of them (from around 15 on the site)...
This document is the largest one (about 1.02 MB's) could this be the issue?
At the same time when viewing the same pdf document through evermighty Firefox , which is my default browser (of course), no problem occurs...
I'm beat...:bemused:
I know this isn't a PHP issue, but I was hoping that someone knows what the trouble is so I can solve this...
