How to get the value in from link

Hi, experts. How to get the value from link and put it in another page? For example, when i click on the filename. It will bring user to another form to show more details about the file. How to capture the filename and carry over to the other page. I will attach search.txt file which consist of search.php which is the operation part and details.php which is linked by search.php where $fname have the link for the filename. Please help me.

Try the "magical" function phpinfo() and take a look on the php server variables .
