[Resolved] Uploading files - do I need to flush temp files on server?

When I upload files (PDFs or JPEGs), should I be deleting temp files after the upload/move/resize is complete?

I'm thinking of the $_FILES['file']['tmp_name'] I work with as the source when moving or resizing - is that something I need to get rid of, or does normal server maintenance take care of that?

Handling File Uploads
The file will be deleted from the temporary directory at the end of the request if has not been moved away or renamed.
