[Resolved] Developing PHP on Linux

Hello,

I develop PHP applications on Linux platforma for a while, and I have always been using a simple editor like nedit and, recently, jedit.

These are nice editors, but I think there are more powerful tools out there to develop PHP apps. As projects grow larger and larger, this is getting more and more important for me.

(Anyway, I have not even found a Linux editor featuring approximately all the nice things I can do with my favorite Windows-Editor (UltraEdit).)

Can anyone give me some advice on editors/tools to use that provide nice features to manage PHP-projects for Linux?

Please, I am particularly interested in your personal opinion why you recommend / not recommend some particular tool (features included / features missing, user-friendlyness, support, ...).

nusphere also works on linux but its not free

Thanks for your advice.

Editpad seems to fit my needs for small tasks.

Bluefish looks nice; it was even in my distro, but I never installed it as it is only a version 0.12.

Now, version 1.0 is out, but I have trouble to install this one! I think I have to upgrade some libraries.
