How can i make my formfields that people cant fill special character like ~ or é etc
something with preg match but i do not understand it
It depends on your exact requirements.
In some instances [man]ctype_digit()/man, [man]ctype_alpha/man or [man]ctype_alnum/man might be simpler and better.
can you give me an example how i should do that with for example: user may not fill ë and €
Instead of defining what your users cannot use, define what your users can use.
Otherwise you might have problems if you missed something that someone tries.
