I am writing an ecommerce site with php and need some help. The products on the site are not the same type of products and will need different html tables to display product information. I have decided to use INCLUDE to display the information of different types of products.
For example one product is a Diamond Solitaire Ring
and another are Diamond Earrings.
These two products need different information displayed. I've created the different tables for these products and will Include them in my showproductdetail page.
The pages are solitaire.php and earrings.php
To determine the type of product, In my products table, I created a field name Type. For a Diamond Solitaire that field value will be solitaire. For Diamond Earrings the value will be earrings.
What I want to do is use <? include ("shoppingcart/<FIELD VALUE>.php"); ?>
That doesnt seem to be working correctly.
Can anyone help or offer another method to display the info for the different products
