Printed Output

Hi,
I want to put a button on my webpage that when pressed will send an output to the printer in std (UK) A4 size.

How do I go about writing the page for outputting to the printer
I have never done a printer output before so I don't know which commands to use at all !

You do it with javascript: window.print() is the command. Check here and here for more information.

I don't know if you can set printer params like paper size, I think you just get what the user's printer settings are. Look at the stuff about CSS to style a printer friendly page.
