We have several points in our site when we ask folks to log in

Our log in script typically sends them to their account...

We'd like in 'some cases' for them to log in and bop back to a page they were originally trying to call.

how do most folks handle this???

The usual way is to have an accesscontrol scipt that you include on each page that you want to protect.

Best thing would be to read Kevin Yank's article

I use his code in the attached file for my accesscontrol, modified for my purposes (but not much).
