I am such a newb. I found that the chmod() function works just fine, but the description befuddled me. I'll go ahead and add that its function is to change a file's mode, which actually should be the file's permissions. Hope this helps someone else.

Hello everyone. I am having problems uploading files with forms, and I do not know if PHP can be used to fix it or not. When using my form, the file uploads correctly but the file permissions for anything uploaded with this form do not let anyone view the file. Any ideas?
