Multiple servers, 1 IP, Apache virtualhost

Here's our setup:
WAN->smoothwall firewall->switch->DMZ.

On our DMZ, we have 2 seperate servers, both have apache+PHP, etc. installed.

What we want to do is set up apache as a virtualhost on one of our computers, and have it point to the other computer (depending on the address coming in).

We've tried (unsuccessfully) to do proxypass, map the network drive and redirect.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

If I under stand you right, you want to set a hdocs folder to a different server.?.? Take a look at my post on this thread about accessing files on another server.
