Still being a newbie to PHP I managed to install phpMyadmin, Apache and php4 and experimented with a few databases. Initial problems was a good learning curve and having reformatting the computer (forgetting about my server) I have installed the above a few times and feel quite comfortable setting the paramaters.
However, I did start off with php using tutorials from Dreamweaver Mags and I kinda got stuck on them, in my vain attempt to master php I did buy a few books, most covering php in dreamweaver, now im trying to move on and I do find it difficult trying to understand the codes whilst figuring this out 'the dreamweaver way'........Now im in the middle of querying a data base thru a form and displaying the result, the problem being is that I keep trying to set everything up using Recordsets and using bindings. Can anyone give me any 'quality' links or even books available that cover Dreamweaver applications using PHP. I know a few of you will say move away from dreamweaver and handball the code!! but its like learning to write left handed at an early age and then trying to change.
Any help, links or 'benefits of being left handed' will be greatly appreciated.
