Hey all!
I'm having a bit of a problem here. I have two tables with the following fields:
Photos
- photo_ID
- photo_File
- photo_Category
- photo_Place
- photo_Date
Photos_Category
- category_ID
- category_Name
- category_Priority
- category_Date
- category_Archived
I stored several photos in the Photos table with a filename, category ID from the Photos_Category table, a priority as to which photos should be displayed first and such.
The Photos_Category table contains 7 different categories (or more or less folders) in which the photos belong. The category_Priority contains numbers as to which category is most important to display first and the category_Archived is either set to Yes or No depending on it's archive status (older photos and such).
Now my question is this:
How do I make a photo script that would list the different categories in the right order as the category_Priority states AND include the photos meant to be in those various categories? For example this:
:: Category name 1
image 4 - image 5 - image 8 - image 9 (in a table with 4 images per row)
:: Category name 2
image 3 - image 7 - image 11 - image 12
and so on and so forth.
I hope this is understandable - otherwise please let me know and I'll try to explain it more in details 🙂
