tricky email problem

Im having a trickey problem with send an email in php 5, i've successfully been able to send an email using php to almost everyone i know except there is one email address im having problems with, and i've done all the checks, i've triple checked the email address with the user, checked to see if they have in incoming message blocked both on their local machine plus one their servers and there is no filtering or blocking, and the only difference is that the intended email address is in a different format, insted of it being eg [e-mail] their address im going to is eg [e-mail] (as im in australia) so i was wondering if there is any limitiations with php in having the extra prefix in the address.
so if anyone can help me out that would be great... thanks

hmm.. an Email off a subdomain :S its not impossible check your Mail server logs to see if there is anything wrong, this wouldnt be a PHP issue.

thanks for the insight but ye, ive had a look at the mail server aswell and according to it there was nothing out of the ordinary in there, apart from the odd incorrect typed email address which didnt get sent out, understandably,
but i was having a look around everywhere and i found a few people saying that with the 4th level doman name could fail as it doest doesnt look past the 3rd, so im not sure if its either a bug in php5 or not

and if anyone knows of a work around for this or any suggestions of what i may be overlooking, also i should mention it's running under windows server 2003, with iis6 in ISAPI mode not cgi as i found php 5 wouldnt run under cgi on iis 6, if thats any help to you guys

but id love to get it running and ANY help would be greatly valued 🙂 becasue it probably sitting right in front of me but...
