AVG and JOIN

Hello,

I'm using this query.

SELECT reviews.resto_id,reviews.globnote,restaurants.name FROM reviews LEFT JOIN restaurants ON reviews.resto_id=restaurants.id

And it works...

Now I would like to average the results of reviews.globnote.

AVG(reviews.globnote) does not work in the query! Why?

The restaurant Sogno d'Italia is displayed twice with a rating (reviews.globnote) of 7.33 and 6.66

How can I make it so that it is displayed only once with the average value?

Because you have not gouped it: AVG is an aggregate function for use with the group by clause.
