your first php site

So what was the first php site you ever built? was it something simple like having comments on an online journal, or did you do something big because you had previous development experience? Also, how fast did it take for you to pick up PHP?

woohoo 5 minutes to burn.

First PHP site was a massive music/mp3 site. It took 4 months to code because I had no clue WTF I was doing.
I kinda threw myself up shh creek with the paddle rammed up my ass. It was worth it though.

so pohopo being the thread starter as you didnt specify yours im guessing your still doing your first or are really embarrassed about it :p

anyway my first PHP site. I cant remember it at the time when I was learning I was mucking around making quite a few sites none of them actually got finished.

Mine is in my sig...but it's completely different than it was when it started a couple years ago. And will soon change again in a few months. I use the site to work out some stuff for a little app that I wrote.

But, my first programming experiences were with a CMS company. Wow, looking back on things...these people thought they were professional programmers but the stuff they were writing was total crap.

Since I started PHP just 3 months ago my first site is what I am working on now and I have to say I am pretty happy. PHP is a very easy language to learn if you have a web and c background. It was more finding the correct syntax to do what I wanted.

When I look back to my very first website, I laugh at how terribly cheesy it was. I tried to throw in flash and it was packed with all the cheesy photoshop effects like solarize.
