Tough one to figure out - populating a pull down.

This is going to be tough. Here is the scoop...

I have a field in a DB that contains the name of towns....comma seperated.....

Lebanon NH, Enfield NH, Windsor VT

I need to figure out a way to take the above list.....and populate a pull down menu....like this:

<option value='Lebanon NH'>Lebanon NH</option>
<option value='Enfield NH'>Enfield NH</option>
<option value='Windsor VT'>Windsor VT</option>

Now, to add more issues.....sometimes the field will only have on town listed.

How can I accomplish this?

Use [man]explode/man and iterate over the resulting array.

It might actually be better to separate the town names into rows in a towns table or something.

I agree with Laserlight here. Before you get too deep into your code, you may want to look into database table normalization. What you are wanting to do is very easy, but may soon become difficult to manage as your table fills up. Let us know if you need specific coding help, or if the instruction Laserlight gave is enough for you to figure out what you are wanting to do.
