Select article from DB based on variables

OK, I am stumped, and could really use a hand....

I am trying to find a way to do the following :

From a small list of variables, a user inputs his needs and recieves at the end a list of potential matches.

Say for exemple :

Color Needed : Red Blue Green Any
Size Needed : Small Large Xlarge Any
Shape Needed : Round Square Triangle Any

Then, from the choses, the user will be give a list of matches, from a database.....

Can anybody PLEASE hhelp me ! ;-p

Frederick, your code won't work if the "Any" option is selected.
You gotta use LIKE statements in the query, and use an if when the "Any" option is selected. This is a bit oversimplified, but may work for you depending on your needs Seventys.

If($_POST['color'] != "Any"){
$color = $_POST['color']; 
}else{
$color = "";
}
If($_POST['size'] != "Any"){
$size = $_POST['size']; 
}else{
$size = "";
}
If($_POST['shape'] != "Any"){
$shape = $_POST['shape'];

$shape = "";
}

WHERE color LIKE '%$color%'
